How do I transfer my domain to you?
The transfer process for domain names varies, dependent on the type of domain in question.
UK domains (all domains that end .uk)
Domains ending in .uk require 2 simple steps to be completed to transfer them in instantly, completely free of cost:
1) Update the Tag to STACK. Ask your current domain provider to change the Tag of the domain name to STACK (most providers allow this via their control panel). If not you will be able to contact their help desk who will walk you through the process.
2) Email sales@growmybrand.co.uk letting us know that you have completed the transfer. Our technical team will complete the transfer over to our servers and you won’t have to do anything else.
3) The transfer will be completed almost instantly so we can start working on your website.
GTLD domains (ending in .com, .net, .org and most other domains), and CentralNIC domains (ending in .uk.com, .gb.com, .eu.com, .uk.net, .gb.net and .eu.net)
GTLD domains take a bit longer to transfer over to our servers, and incur a fee of £9.99 + VAT.
1) Ask your current domain provider for the domain name Authorisation Code (Auth or EPP code).
2) Email the code over to sales@growmybrand.co.uk. We will transfer the domain over on our end and will need this code for authorisation. This can take up to 5 days to complete so patience will be needed while our technical team transfer all the data over.
